Poeta offers online reservations for dinner service and weekend brunch, and retains walk-in seating availability.

Contact us directly if you would like a reservation for weekday breakfast or lunch, as we do not list reservations online for weekday services.

• Not all tables are listed for online reservations: feel free to contact us directly to assist with booking, or walk-in to join us.

DOGS ARE WELCOME in the Outdoor Patio Spaces. Dogs Must be Well-Behaved, On-Leash & Attended at All Times. Service Dogs are Allowed Indoors: The Same Rules Apply.

Under Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code §28.10, establishments with a Mixed Beverage License may only serve alcoholic beverages purchased through their licensed inventory from regulated distributors. As a result, outside alcoholic beverages and corkage are not permitted.

- LATE ARRIVAL & SEATING SELECTION -

Reservations have a Grace Period of 15min before being Cancelled Out as NO SHOW & Given to Walk-In Guests - Call ahead if you are running late to ensure your table!

Double Check Your Reservation for “indoor OR outdoor” Booking Assignment- We do NOT guarantee seating area changes upon arrival.

We politely ask your conscientiousness with regards to allocated reservation time measures so everyone may have an opportunity to dine!

CANCELLATIONS

Please call to cancel or reschedule as soon as possible & understand a “No-Show” is extremely impactful to restaurants. As a small, independent establishment, planning for daily service & staffing requirements are influenced by patronage estimations with reservations. Your conscientiousness in this matters to us & all restaurant establishments.

A credit card is required to book for ALL Parties of FIVE+ Guests with the Agreement to a Card Charge in the Case of Late Cancel Notice OR a NO-Show Occurence. *Holiday & Special Events Dates are Subject to Greater Charges & Notice Times.

5-6 Guests:

• 24hrs Notice Required

• $10pp/weekday & $20pp/weekend

7-8 Guests:

• 48hrsNotice Required

• $15pp/weekday & $25pp/weekend  

9+ Guests:

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS, LATE CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW CHARGES SPECIFIC TO YOUR PARTY APPLY & WILL BE REVIEWED AT BOOKING WITH OUR RESERVATIONIST.

Determining Factors for a Large Party Policy Requirement Include: Guest Count, Time & Overall Space Occupancy. F&B Minimums & Space Fees May Apply TBD at Booking.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

SAME DAY Large Party Booking & Cancellation: Charges Apply

• Reservations Made & Canceled within a Two Hour Timeframe are Waived of Charges. 

A “Significant” DROP in Party Count: Results in the Same Charges.

“Significant” is Defined as a Drop in Party Size that Majorly Affects Table Set Up Changes in Time & Layout Where Other Reservations Could Have Been Booked. (Ex. 8 guests to 4 guests, etc.)

HOLIDAY MONTHS: NOVEMBER |  DECEMBER  |   FEBRUARY

EVENT & SPECIAL OCCASION WEEKS/WEEKENDS Include (but not limited to):  Austin Restaurant Weeks, ACL Weekend-to-Weekend, F1 Week, MAY Graduation Weeks, Mother’s Day & Father’s Day Weekends, etc.

5-6 Guests:

• 24hrs Notice Required

• $15pp/weekday & $25pp/weekend

7-8 Guests:

• WEEKDAYS = 48hrs Notice & WEEKENDS =  72hrs Notice/ $25pp Notice Required

9+ Guests:

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS, LATE CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW CHARGES SPECIFIC TO YOUR PARTY APPLY & WILL BE REVIEWED AT BOOKING WITH OUR RESERVATIONIST.

• 72hrs Notice Applicable to Smaller Party Sizes of 2-4 guests

• Min $50pp

For the CHEF’s TASTING MENU: Dinner deposits for our Chef’s Tasting Menu are non-refundable within 24hrs of your booking. In the event of an emergency, please contact: hello@poetarestaurant.com within 48 hours prior to your reservation, and we’ll be happy to reschedule with you. Guests are limited to ONE reschedule option per booking under the same reservation for the same number of guests.

• Parties of 5-9 Guests Included 20% Service Charge

• Parties of 10-20 guests Include 22% Service Charge.

• 20+ guests Include a service charge of 25% & generally require other guidelines for booking & dining. Please visit our EVENT INQUIRIES page for large party dining requests.

Due to the “sharing” nature of our menu format & ordering style, Large Party Checks are Not Separately ITEMIZED for Splitting : We’re happy to split checks evenly by desired % -OR- you’re welcome to note $ amount split required per card for your server. (10 Card MAX per Group)
